Lemony Dilled Green Beans with Cucumbers and Almonds
Your garden is sprouting with more green beans than you can handle! Quick cook those suckers, toss in a little dill and some cool cukes and WOW!
- green beans
- fresh dill
- slivered almonds
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Blanch the green beans and make sure you really get them cold in the ice bath: just cook them enough so that they turn bright green. You want to keep some of that crunch.
Add in the dill, cucumbers, almonds and lemon to your liking. Chill and serve.
